Just discovered Deya Something Good IPA, they slightly vary the brew each month apparently, this one is number 7, and very fine it is too. looking forward to trying the number 8 sometime soon.

Desperate craving for a few pints of Guinness this evening. Tins not cutting it.

Think Guinness needs to be enjoyed with the Pub around it.

Had a thing for Newcy Brown in the mid 80's, somehow it was quite cool. I could do about 5-6 pint bottles a night but after a, few months it completely ****ed my knees! Every morning after I could barely walk for the pain... Other beers no problem?

Much like Guiness, 2-3 pints of Newcastle is about my limit as it sits kind of "heavy". Never lost control of my knees though, other than when I'd been drinking Mad Dog 20/20 most of the night (Kiwi & Lemon, obvs) and on the way home, a 'mate' unexpectedly jumped on my back for a piggyback. I immediately buckled, fell over and ripped both the knees on a bloody nice pair of suit trousers.

it was not so much lost control, more like i had arthritis in my knee joints after a session, never had that with any other beer, wine or spirit .

I know what you mean, but I do find Unbarred particularly good.

A sweet spot supermarket bought red (Tesco's Finest Trilogy Malbec) as CBA to trek to Quaff, and a Poco Loco delivery. All is well with the world. On the downside, I'll be asleep by 9.

I was asleep at 9, but seem to have a second life. It'll be brief, can pretty much guarantee that.

Beer in general sits too heavy for me by now. Works at The Amex and, especially, an away day but wine agrees with me more. So, I'm drinking wine now.

I’ve crashed on the no drinking after 3 weeks and sank a couple of gluten free brew dogs.

My son has just tested intolerant so am helping him see he can still enjoy a decent ale when he’s a man.
