I really don't care about Rangers or the Scottish League or whatever tin-pot Division they play in.

What I do care about is the potential overruling of the decision, simply because its another nail in the coffin of integrity in football, hammered home by large wodges of cash.

Should make the Scottish league a bit more interesting (if you take out Celtic as champions). Who will get the other champions league place and the money that goes with it, will they stay in the top 2 until Rangers are back and how quickly will Rangers come back.

SPL are now proposing a 'SPL 2', to include Rangers. They will invite the teams from Scottish Division 1 to join.

I hope the Scottish Division 1 teams tell them to arse off.

All that money they owe which creditors will never see - including a huge tax bill - they've got what they deserve. In fact they should be put in the Highland Haggis League or whatever it's called.

Rangers have always wanted to leave SPL and play in the Premier League, so this is surely the perfect time for them to make the jump. They are no longer having to risk giving up a guranteed place at the top of the league and will have to work their way up through some proper gash leagues either way.

Be interesting to see how many of Rangers players will want to play their football in Div 3.

What standard of football do they play in Division 3? I'm thinking it's somewhere between pub and county league.

Is there a wages cap in the lower leagues of the SFL ?

A lot of clubs have part timers on their books , players who have another job and train for a couple of hours one evening in the week and play on a Saturday/Tuesday.

I've watched Stranraer and was surprised at the standard on offer , probably comparable to county league.

What is this Rangers "football club" of which we speak?

As Ally McCoist says ...

"We have a transfer embargo hanging over us but how can I operate with a transfer embargo when I only have six players? It's impossible and it's just madness.

"I have in the region of six first team players at pre-season training right now, two of whom were regulars last season in the SPL.

"We need to bring in the region of 10, 12 or even 14 players. I reckon since January we have lost close to 21 players".

'In the region of six'? If there are so few, it wouldn't be too difficult for him to actually COUNT them, would it?
