Imagine it being different...

... we might be a club that regularly sacked its managers because they were rubbish. We would be mid-table mediocrities season after season, forever dreaming of ...er... maybe making the play-offs one year. We would be playing in front of crowds of 3,500, with special "Kids for a Pound" days from time to time. Peter Ward would be a hero because he was the last Albion player to get into double figures in a season. And even grown men would be admitting that they'd never seen an Albion hero who came anywhere close to matching him. And we'd think that reaching the quarter-final of the LDV trophy was an exciting achievement.

But it's not like that.

This is the Club that knows what the gutter feels like. But always dreams of the stars. It consumes us with passion. It hurts when things go wrong - not because they won't go right again, but because we want it right NOW.

And we know that it will be right again SOON.

Let last Tuesday tell the whole story.

We got angry when we gave away a penalty, but we walked away 3-1 winners.

Marvellous scenes. We'll see more of them.

Top stuff LB post of the day by far.

I think you count the number of "dull seasons" in the last 30 years on the fingers of one hand (unless you're Django Reinheart)

As a not particularly wise man once said "there's always something happening and it's usually quite loud"

I'm so glad the Albion claimed me

What a spot on post.
Today we are all feeling pissed off yet again, we are getting used to it!
This club is bigger than all the managers that have been here. It is just a job for them, there is no loyalty in football.

Being a Brighton fan is the best thing in the world, from the euphoria of Tues night to the utter despair of Thurday morning. What other club could give you this in the space of 3 days?

What would it be like supporting a premireshite team - today news 'we have signed another unknown foreigner for £xxx million, YAWN.

Remember on days like this, we now have a week or so of classic speculation on who will be next on the merry go round. Then finally the announcement and another era begins.

We are going onwards and upwards, if SC does not want a part of it, then thats his loss.

As long as Hoddle doesnt tip up here, we will be OK.

Seeeagullllllsss.
Get behind the TEAM.
