If it means the double barreled portugeezer doesn't take dog wanderers into europe again, I'm all about the arse today. Plus we'll have a watch of maitland-niles, see if he's able to cut it:)

I'm actually looking forward to it, think it has a bit of an edge to it this season due to the two young managers and the fact it's so hard to call

Sadly, cup final day means absolutely nothing these days.

Breaks my heart when I think of how we used to spend this day.

I have a little bit of an interest as an American with CP on Chelsea. Players like him, Dempsey at Fulham or Miggy signing with Newcastle from ATL UTD is important for growth of the English game over here. But FA finals I hardly ever remember, but I’ll always remember watching games like this one below. If it’s not BHA playing or a compelling game for BHA I’ll almost always choose watching the lower leagues over the EPL

I love the cup final. I agree it’s not a great line up simply because Chelsea and Arsenal seem to have dominated the last 10 years of the competition so I’d rather see a different club in it, but that’s not a deal breaker.

Their domination has been a bit longer than that.....23 years to be precise. From 1997 to 2020, one or the other or both have been in 16 finals. Arsenal have won 7 out of 8...and Chelsea have won 7 out of 9.....Arsenal's only defeat was 2001, when they battered Liverpool and should have been out of sight before the late Michael Owen show. Chelsea's two defeats were at the hands of.......Arsenal.

Perhaps it might be fun to go on some Leeds sites and relive the glory of the underdog in 1973 :)

I'll give it a a watch. I'll be up the arse even though Fat Frank is better at swearing than Arteta.

Dibley will be watching and trying to work out where he might be loved most before deciding which one he wants to join.

Penalty shootout in the Conference South play-off final, which Weymouth have just won.

Conference North final soon to kick-off.

These two games are more interesting than the FA Cup

Sadly, cup final day means absolutely nothing these days.

Breaks my heart when I think of how we used to spend this day.

Not even watching it,maybe highlights later . A sad state of affairs and to think from 1990 to 98 a group of us would go somewhere for a weekend for it and treat it as a jolly.

I shall watch it the TV with the sound down whilst watching AFTV watch along on the tablet with the sound up........
The TV feed is usually a few seconds ahead so when arsenal concede I know and wait with delight for the melt down I know is about to happen on my tablet!

Not so much fun if they score.

I’ve never commented on a man’s beard before, but I think Gary’s looks a little too much like Charlie Chaplin’s.

They could end up playing Bournemouth, in a couple of seasons time.

You never know SB

Used to go down there for weekends back in the 80s
They were a pretty good side back then
Always hoped they'd move up through the leagues
Never dreamt they'd get this far

I've just been reading a thread on the mighty leeds, found myself humming the 1970 cup final song. To balance my indiscretion I sang blue is the colour. Why the hell do I know the words to both songs??
