It's Coppell or Wise - no one else

Whoever is in charge will get my support!

Wise would give the players the kick up the backside that a number of them would need.

Coppell is a great tactician, but would he want the job for the longer term?

Curbishley or Southgate for me.

Both high profile, have contacts & local.

What is just as important is who has a good back up in of people aka a number 2 & coaches that will be needed

I really don't get the whole Southgate thing. What has he done as a Manager? Got relegated with Middlesbrough? Anything else?

With Wise "kicking people up the arse" might stop you getting relegated but it won't get you promoted.

Football has moved on since the days of The Crazy Gang and I think whilst Wise could sort out discipline he won't have the tactical skills we need in a manager.

If Wise is genuinely being considered, please can we somehow get the manager poll across to TB. Although a very small sample of supporters, the fact that there is not one vote for Wise (out of a choice of more than 40 managers) shows how the supporters feel. The fact that John Barnes and Steve Claridge have more votes than Wise should be all TB needs to know!!

I don't know how many directors dip in and out of NSC, but I do know that various people in the club do read it - not least the people who reply to Ask The Project Team (two of whom are on the Board of Directors) and, quite pertinently, the club's Press Officer.

I suspect Tony Bloom and/or the other directors are well aware of the NSCers' opinions.

Whether they feel compelled to act upon this is, of course, another matter.

He may be a prick, and vastly disliked my most - but if he is "the chosen" one.. then we should all get behind the man & indeed the team.
For all this, I want him.. I don't want another ... at the end of the day we all support Brighton & Hove Albion no matter what.. managers come & go (we should know).. the club is forever !
Just my opinion & whoever is put in charge will get my support :albion2:[/QU

Wouldn't be my choice as he seems a nasty piece of work, however, his biog looks fairly impressive and he will certainly kick arse and get the "superstars" into shape.

And I agree that whoever it is we need to get 100% behind them. After all the nicest manager on the planet may have some real bad skeletons we don't know about so lets not crucify Wise just because his skeletons are out in the open!

Got absolutely nothing to do with the supporters. He will get in who he feels fits the criteria to do a job and to take the club forward.

If I was chairman of the club I wouldn't care less what the fans think. He's the man who got to pay the salary after all.

Maybe but any good chairman will listen to his customers as they are normally what underpins a business. No supporters, no gate money, no business

Well let's just hope he didn't go to the same 'school of chairmen' as you then...

yeah but a winning team would mean that people would soon come back.

Hope it's coppell or curbishley personally.

Southgate was shit at boro, he has no presence as a manager.

Just curious - I wonder why, when Insider says, on the back of a conversation with Tony Bloom, "I am not expecting to see Dennis Wise appointed.", is there a clamour to insist it's between Wise and Coppell?

I hope it's not because he enjoys a good ol' wind-up given the chance.. :annoyed:
