Agreed.
Course its not IDEAL to put Dawson in for his first cap in a crucial World Cup game. But it is only Algeria, and he's a Premiership footballer coming off the back of having just had an EXCELLENT season. He should be more than able to cope - if he can't, then whats he doing there in the first place.

Dawson is quicker than Carragher, and that factor alone would have him in the team for me.
