Uh oh. I am not too bothered if the company that bought the student loans goes bankrupt. :D

Just out of interest. When someone talks about Roman Abramovich, billionaire. Are they referring to the English or American billion?

Really?

The one to watch for me is Banco Santander buying everything over here.

Spains economy is about to go Pete tong...biggest property boom IN THE WORLD and the whole lot is about to bomb.

Always fancied living the Ray Mears way.

Well I've read that more banks over here could well go under if this bail-out doesn't happen in the US, so it is very bad news by the sounds of it!

There are still some negotiations going on to try to change a few votes. Seems strange to me after the voting has been completed but then there are lots of strange things in American politics.

"It will put the nation on the slippery slope to Socialism." That is what some arsehole says is why they voted against. They fail to see how their carefree, unmarshalled capitalism has thrown us all into a hole. I long for socialism to appear for the first time.

The Ironic thing is the USA economy and state and the whole Western Capitalist World are on their knees and on the edge of totally implosion and Bin Laden hasn't even had to leave his grotty little Cave. He will be over the Moon.

Now whilst among others I am no expert, if my CEO & Chairman in the US said last week that if congress did not accept $700bn it would be very grave news, I am also very concerned.

Trouble is just chucking money at this is not the right answer and will create far worse situations at a later date.
