Gold and Sullivan sacked Zola as they didnt think he had the experience. what experience has Gus of Championship or Premiership management? bugger all. they will go with a manager with a track record in the Championship or Premiership, not up and coming prospects.

Shame for Micky Adams that he signed a contract at Port Vale as he fits the criteria. He's British and has a track record in the Premiership and Championship.

which ties in with what was in the paper today about Allardyce, saying they want him to make the first move. they wont those interested to apply, not running a shortlist and approaching them. so unless Gus puts forward his CV, he wont be in the running. simples.
