The Battle of Orgreave was the name given to the confrontation between the police and miners in 1984, during the miners strike, at Orgreave in South Yorkshire - see what the OP has done there as he mentions miners lamps in the previous line.

Thing is, there's a slight difference between a clever play on words and just being obtuse. I don't feel in a position to judge this particular example but I'm sure others will!
