Ive usually fallen asleep after 10 mins of an italian game.

The premiership and La Liga are far superior in my opinion.

I know 2 Italian teams made the European Cup Final last year, but it was probably the worst game of football I have ever seen.

Actually, having read it again you're right, it is funny. Did you go to the Orient v BHA match when Shilton played his last game and it was live on Sky? Now that was really funny; Sky televising the worst match I've ever seen. We were atrocious and Steve Gritt still had the balls to come into the stand to address the travelling fans. Top man. We've gone off the point though; I find watching Italian football akin to watching paint dry.

To be honest it's a while since I watched a Serie A match so I should check some more matches out before passing judgement. AC Milan certainly weren't over defensive against Deportivo the other night. Ron Atkinson was good value as always. The stick he gave the AC strikers for not converting difficult chances in the first half was incredible; "I think Gotsmanov could've tried to control that on his chest" yeah, if he was eight feet tall.

For me, the best league in the world is La Liga. I think for pace, skill and the quantity of quality teams, they beat the Premiership and the Italian league.

Think of it this way - if the 3 leagues were played as 1, how many Spanish, English or Italian clubs would be in the top half of the league. I think only a few premiership clubs would be, a few Italian clubs would make it but the rest, I think, would be Spanish.
