I remember being at that game. Settled with a youthful Ryan Giggs free kick half way through the second half if I recall right.

I also seem to remember Clive Walker chasing back and dispossessing Giggs in front of us during the 1st half. Not sure he ever ran again in the game after that!

I remember it well - we played really well but we were eventually defeated by a Ryan Giggs free-kick.
Was only 11 at the time.

Actually I think you`ll find he was 17 or 18.

Was that the game we lost 1- 0 if so I was there. After the game my brother flew back to Heathrow and Gary Chivers was on the flight and he asked him how good Giggs was and the answer he received was " He is the best player Ive played with or against and he doesnt know what he is going to do next so how the f*** was I supposed to".
