It must be hell for Martin Perry

At the end of the day Perry is just an employee, he acts passionately because he's paid a 100k a year to be that actor. He was involved with the Huddersfield project before this and I'll expect he'll be onto another club after this.

All the travel that the ticket gives you is paid for by the club.

The ticket gives me no travel (apart from rare occasions), if i get the train, it is not worth the grief of using the voucher.

What with NSC having a bit of money in the pot how about we send a gift to Dick and Martin when the decision comes. Which ever way it goes just to show how much we appreciate the work they have put into the plans???

??? Not sure I understand you right. You're saying you do get the train but don't use the voucher? Why? If you have any more spare cash you don't need I'll have it :)

I use the train voucher and it has never caused me any "grief"

Huh? That is a bit daft? Surely everyone else only gets a ticket to where the voucher begins? It certainly makes a difference when travelling from London.

Whether Martin Perry is paid or not he has lived and breathed the Falmer Project. I saw how much he cared at the Inquiry and I can tell you he is as anxious as anyone as to the decision. It's more than just a job to him.
He deserves our support.
(And no I am not related to him or even a friend)

You're right. But what an employee! He's sweated blood for the project, given his all and, whatever he gets paid you can be sure is way below the Chief Executive's salary at any other Championship club. He's been amazingly good value and I hope he stays to see the task through. If not, we should all wish him well - we could not have asked for anything more from one individual. And, unlike DK, he wasn't even a fan - well, not to begin with!

Top bloke!

I don't think everyone would see it that way. If Falmer does not get the goahead after spending all of our money on it for years, they are likely to get lynched!

Not me, I'll be 1st in line ready to punch anyone from a lynching mob

We should demand that Perry and Knight are new additions to the "winners and heroes" draw regardless.

I think Martin Perry should win the "Employee of the Month" award if we get the decision.

With Paul McShane currently leading, with 99 per cent of the votes cast so far, it's gonna have to be a hell of a finishing spurt by MP.

But I reckon he'll do it.

How is it that you can be such a negative person about something like this on a thread that is being praising about something.

My mum used to say something along the lines of "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything". Perhaps your mum could say the same to you tonight when she tucks you in.
