Third biggest spend. Fourth [possibly third] place. Par.

I'll begrudgingly admit that he HAS done well. He's still a c*nt, though.

Spurs should never have let Rochas go (Pompey) and I was surprised Redknapp didn't try to get him to Spurs as well.

For everyone who hates Portsmouth - they will be cherry-picked into oblivion before next season starts, and are SURE to struggle with the Championship after that.
Unless we pass each other at the end of next season - we'll soon be resuming rivalry with those knob-ends don't you worry.

I`ll never forget the time Pompey played at Withdean and we gave Harry a standing ovation when he came over before kick off. Only normally happens to ex Albion players/managers.

I applaud him more for the mess he has left Pompey in...
The only thing at Pompey that should be directly attributed to Arry is the fact that they won the FA Cup. The money was the chairman's responsibility, not his. I'm just pleased to see a team mainly consisting of English players managed by an English manager doing well, even if it is Spurs

And Andy Gray pissed off me off with his statement about fans would prefer their team to finish 4th than win the FA cup. Personally I would much prefer the FA cup and a trip to Wembley than finishing 4th.

What utter madness, you'd prefer a tilt at the FA Cup and the Europa Cup rather than at the Champion's league?? I doubt even 1% of Spurs fans or their players feel like you.

I would rather win the FA Cup than come fourth an potentially get knocked out in some Champions League qualifier in Slovakia.

It is all about the GLORY. Doing things in STYLE.

I'm not so sure about that, I'd rather we won the FA Cup than finish 4th in the Prem. I bet that would be a close vote.

"WE" ? Well I f***ing didn't.

Spurs have profited from the bindippers complete and utter implosion. They've transcended from being largely mediocre, to absolute toilet.

Anyway, Spurs havn't actually 'qualified' yet. Remember Everton v Villareal ?
I have to say, I'd laugh my dick off if Spurs nouse it up the qualifying round. Do they even get a bite at the Europa if that happens ?

Firstly, if we have to suffer another summer during which every time Harry even makes a player enquiry or signing the media as one bring out that bloody 'wheeling and dealing' phrase I will scream. It's SO annoying!!

Also, the temptation to dislike Spurs is easily tempered by firstly the fact that it's 'money can buy instant sucess' ("so f*** off Sparky!") Man City that they've pipped. But also how much they've defied smug pundits who spent the whole season assuring everyone that Spurs would bottle it.

Also how f***ing annoying was it that the prospect of Man City finishing 4th was seen as somehow refreshing? They've joined the rich elite, and should be laughed at for not gliding into the Champions League with ease rather than treated as some sort of plucky outsider for finishing above the comparitevely penniless Liverpool.

God yeah chance of trophy, trip to Wembley and day out or the preliminary rounds of the Champions League. In 10 years time or so do you think Spurs fans will say cor yeah I was there they day we got 4th in the league? But yet clubs/players/fans talk about the trophy's and days out at Wembley.
Football is about winning stuff not finishing 4th/3rd or wherever.

I detest Spurs above all other teams including Palace, but you cannae argue with 'Old Twitchy's' track record, just a shame it's at such a despicable club.

That's a fact. Not sure about Bournemouth, but i'm pretty certain most West Ham, Saints and Pompey fans wouldn't have him back even if it was a choice between him and Dale Winton.

Trouble will be in 3 or 4 years time when they have a huge debt which seems to happen whenever Harry leaves a club

He's done a good job yes, but it was only a matter of time before someone finally did it.

Their squad cost a heck a lot to assemble, over a relatively long period of time unlike at Man City. They played City off the park and deservedly got 4th. I wouldn't say it was a fantastic achievement though, City have been pretty average at times this season.

The thing that annoys me the most about Spurs, is the lack of youth they bring through. One player plays regularly (or not) and that is Ledley King. I'd have a lot more respect for Spurs if they stopped poaching other teams youngsters and then brag about how great they are.
