I guess we are more of a target because of our actions in Iraq/Afghanistan so why take the risk? The kudos to a terrorist organisation of a major attack at the Olympics would be right up there with 9/11. Personally I am happy that it will take me a little longer to gain entry to the events I am going to if it means I do not end up sitting next to some **** with a bomb in his back-pack.

i think most people would be relieved that the government has the foresight to have contingency plans in place should things go tits up even if that does involve the military.

Activists occupy roof of G4S HQ - UK Indymedia

You think it's common sense to use G4S for Olympic security when only last year they lost a major contract with UK border control due to 773 complaints of abuse whist deporting asylum seekers in one year!? military run operation regardless of the security name. The army or G4S, there's not a lot of difference.

In the interests of fairness, check up Rick Clays work. He was the one who alerted my attention towards this event. Regardless how he died, try to focus on what he had discovered about the Olympics.
