I see your point - but I do think that being negative about our one and only hope of a future does seem to be the 'new black' of NSC.

Surely it is better to channel all that hurt and aggression and helping to secure it? The constant negativity actually is a self fulfilling prophecy about losing support.

But it isn't just this post, there have been a few by some, including albion dan, recently that try to paint themselves as the deliverers of doom by rehashing points that have already been raised.

Fair enough, but i just think we've reached the point where we, the fans, can't influence things anymore. Well not until those fans unlucky enough to live in LDc's private masonic fiefdom get the opportunity to boot them out of office in May.

I mean, we can't send Valentines to that fat wanker Prescott anymore, and nobody's even suggested courting Ruth Kelly's favour. Nah, stuffing's knocked out for the time being. Maybe the Seagulls Party can secure a stunning victory at the local elections. But I for one have absolutely no faith anymore in national politicians doing the right thing over Falmer. Sorry.

Sorry I aired my thoughts on the matter, I forgot that you shouldnt do that on a CHAT forum.

Im not allowed to say that I think the public enquiry may be reopened as my opinion?

Friendly Fire? WTF are you on about? Im only calling things how I feel they might go, does that deserve the pathetic attempt at sarcasm.

but you present it as though you hadn't been warned it was possible or likely.

But hey aren't I allowed to post an opposite point of view on a CHAT forum?

Indeed - and it needs support to be able to financially and manually deliver that. Leaflets need to be printed, delivered, people canvassed etc.

The constant negativity actually eats away at people willing to do that.

Agreed. You have to admit it is understandable after all this time tho.

Time isn't the factor I think. People are willing to do things if they see results and feel appreciated.

Time is THE factor IMHO. It's a constant chipping away at the basics. Eight years is not a temporary home. If you were a 60 year old STH in the South Stand you'd have spent the best part of a decade being soaked to the skin for half the season. That can be life threatening. Eight years without a damn roof. and eight years with ever-decreasing crowds and in turn ever-decreasing budgets is the reality, and taking, what, two years. to get two thousand extra seats installed, by which time it's too late to fill them, is a killer. You want to cry for the club. They're literally being strangled by red tape and residents on all fronts. They're the most decent set of owners the club could ever have, but they're having the shit kicked out of them by the very worst of the little Englander mentality. Time is EVERYTHING. This long game being played out by LDC is KILLING the Albion.

I tend to agree with AD. The air of negativity is 90% down to the endless saga of Falmer.I have had enough of it now , 8 years and no decision. I have got to the stage where I am sorry to say even a NO would be a relief as it least we'd fecking know. 8 fecking years in the air, decision by this Summer , ho bloody ray , and then how long before we can actually put a spade in the ground 1 year , 2 years, if Kelly asks for a 3rd PE that will end the club I think. I have nothing but admiration for the work of Samrah and Bassford they are bloomin hero's, I couldn't have had the patience and persistance they have but whether we like it or not LDC / Baker and Neighbours lies have won the PR battle hands down and I am only sorry we have not had 20000 Albion fans marching through Lewes as that is what is needed by now, LDC cannot believe what pussies we have been , they must be laughing their heads off.

The good news for all Albion fans is I am betting on Ruth Kelly to ask for a 3rd public enquiry.
