Is that the same man as there is no mention of his football career in Sweden. He played for the reserves last night and held the ball up well but I am not sure that he is good enough for the first team but looked promising and is worth a 2nd look. Without stirring up a hornets nest I thought that he looked more likely to score than Chris Holroyd has done in first team games but then again this was reserve football.

On reflection, possibly not!

Maybe Ishmael Kamara is as common in Sierra Leone as Paul Smith is here in England!!

Google out

Reading the article a bit further....:

"But once I came to the United States, I realized I had to work hard. As a senior in high school, I was going to school full-time and working full-time-37 hours a week-to support my two brothers back in Sierra Leone. Now I'm in college at SUNY Oneonta upstate.

Now that I'm 20, I don't want to go into business. Seeing the war, all that changed. Now all I want is to help people. I'm an education major, so I can be a teacher and teach what I experienced so we can join together to make the world a better place"

Perhaps this may not be him

I may have tracked him down!

Holland: Willem II Tilburg force Leone Stars to a draw - The Patriotic Vanguard

Reflex! Flair!

Leone stars drew the first blood in the 26th minute through Swedish based Ismail Reflex Kamara after a well coordinated combination between Ayala and Gibrilla Woobay. This was after the US based attacker, Kai Kamara had earlier missed a golden opportunity with only the goalkeeper to beat but fumbled in the six yard box and Gibrilla Woobay had also hit the woodwork twice.

Love this picture!! Spot the odd man out!
