Nope. You don't. He is a lazy, obnoxious character. But then in Worthing you could pin a blue rosette on a pekinese and it would get elected.

That's the problem with Tories in huge majority safe seats; there is no motivation. They know they don't have to do anything to get elected. So they don't do anything.

They do vote in self interest, tow the party line and do as much as possible to ensure their own easy ride, so they do something at least. Some of them even butter up a few grannies and bus them in to polling stations to get their vote count up, a good use of expenses if you think about it.

On a positive note, unlike the Labour seats, at least the Grannies that vote are still alive.

Bloody hell Zeff, have we really got 4 more year of this, it’s obvious the Tories won’t win the next election, it’s just a shame it’s 4 years away, I can’t wait for less political threads when Sir Kier is PM.

Johnson has made virtually every vote a three-lined whip vote - especially on Brexit, the economy and, more disturbingly, social issues like feeding vulnerable schoolchildren. He also promised a zero-tolerance approach to those voting against the government.

No such thing a free vote in his dictionary.

.....personally I wasn’t taking this thread that seriously as I don’t that website and I generally stay away from politics on NSC..just ends in a bun fight

Wasn't Tim Loughton the MP that put in a claim for petrol expenses for attending the Shoreham memorial?

I beg to differ.

I don't want to differ here, but I suspect that even if by 2024, Brexit has caused untold misery, it has become such a polarised, toxic subject that there will still be those who will vote for a Brexit (i.e. Johnson) government no matter what.

Its not at all. Anyway Not being a c**t toward society in general is for life not just a single election.

FWIW I doubt I'd vote Labour either, but at least Starmer is competent and has some morals.

I've sent Andrew Griffiths 3 emails, to which he hasn't replied. I don't need to go to a website...

To save everyone the trouble...

If your local MP is a Tory, then this website will deem them a prick.

If they’re Labour, it won’t.

You are right. I've lived through enough Labour governments to last me a lifetime. I won't get fooled again as you might say.

Really.

First, Labour have only been in power for 28 years since 1945 so that's one short lifetime.

Second, stripping out the Iraq War, the last Labour administration was not exactly a disaster for everyone, as long as you don't believe the narrative created by successive governments and allowed to fester for convenience by members of the opposition that the financial crash was somehow the fault of Blair and Brown.
