Gut instinct tells me it's wrong. Sounds to me it's all to make the parents lives easier and less embarrassing for them regarding puberty, menstrual cycles etc.

As shown on the news last night. A British child with similar disabilities was left to develop, and at age 8, without warning, started walking!

My gut reaction watching the story last night was that it was wrong, but as others have said, I'm not really in a position to judge. Unless you are the parents yourselves, who knows what you may or may not do.
