I would love you to take a DNA test. This country is a mongrel country of Romans, Anglo Saxons, Vikings, Normans (Norwegians and French) plus members of the Commonwealth that we invaded since the 15th century.
Even Lord Nelson had 22 different nationalities aboard HMS Victory at the Battle of Trafalgar.

As has been rightly pointed out in this thread previously, people have always moved around the world.

We've had immigrants landing on our beaches for 1000s of years.

What we've also had for 100s of years is a rule of law.

Arriving on our shores they should be subject to our rule of law, as simple as that. They should be sent back if the law states that should happen. If they law states they should stay, then they should stay.

Unless you don't believe in the rule of law?

There's a law going through parliament that will address these issues it couldnt come sooner . The return of order being reinstated where people will see the UK as a less attractive proposition for abusing the current asylum system

The UK has far less migrants than other similar nations.

32nd in the net migration table.

Lower number of refugees than many other European nations. Turkey has 20x.

Numbers much lower than 15 or so years back.

In the case of Syrian refugees it's unlikely. Unless well educated. you'd have thought most 'well educated' would have been in a position to travel in more comfort. . . . I'm not disagreeing for the sake of it, I just don't know the real reason, but don't believe its language or friends/relatives . . . . either they're being lied to, trafficed or don't really know where they're going/what they're doing . . . . lets face it, if you were in that situation and position you wouldn't necessarily be thinking that logically.
