Worst foul must have been one of the many open assaults perpetrated in black and white by the Argentina 'animals' during the 1966 tournament shirley.

I think the way Pele and Eusebio were treated was pretty awful too. Got kicked every time they got the ball.

yes it was .....makes the whole suarez business look what it is ......a load of teeth , schumacher literally went for the kill there and got away without punishment , makes you wonder where the game will be in another 24 years.

I remember that at the time, but i forgot what a horrible tackle it was from Southgate too.

There was the elbow in the face that flattened Spain's Louis Enrique and his nose which I believe was committed by an Italian and there were numerous grave fouls and some corking punches thrown in The Battle of Santiago in 1962.......
