Is this the best Albion strip ever?

Just found this on ebay..... an original 1979 club shirt, pity about the number (14) and the price.... but in my humble opinion it's the best strip and badge we ever had. Red number on the back... small black number on the front..... this rocks.
Anyone got any ideas who may have worn this No 14 sub's shirt?

I don't believe subs were numbered 13 at some clubs so 14 may well have been OK and legit in this case

1979 we were playing in stripes.
Check out the archive pictures..... the badge looks kosher.
Black number at the front?... no, I don't remember it.
Number 14?.... a bit fishy... definitely one named sub (12).
Fake?.... probably... .
I just think aesthetically it's the best shirt we ever had..... worn by the best team we ever had.
And the picture of Wardy with a bubble perm is priceless.

only one sub (12) used in them days, however I rembember a friendly against QPR and I believe 14 and 15 were used, don't remember a small black number on front though.

I'm sure I remember number's used on the front of our shirts from about that time. But can't really say if It is a fake shirt.

That is surely a key to the photo feature the Times does, with the numbers representing the players in a squad photo, not player or squad numbers.
