I don't object to it on any aesthetic grounds. But I find it a bizarre thing to do before a football match. Does it help with cushion headers?

Given that this presumably means that creative headwwear is not outlawed, who will be the first player (I'll wager it will be a keeper) who rocks up on the pitch wearing one of these bad boys?

An extension isn't a hairstyle any more than a syrup is a hairstyle, though is it? Or is it? It's a style, and it's hair, only it isn't his hair. Hmmm.

Perhaps I'll get my coat, this time.

(I would have loved it if he'd got special powers that allowed him to let out, relax, then retract his own hair, though. Twenty years ago that would have been the first thing to pop into my mind by way of explanation.)

But Clive Thomas was right and the game was over ! As soon as the time , including added on time , is up then the whistle should be blown not some arbitrary time added on so a team can score or a player be injured !
I feel sorry for the man that him enacting the laws of the game correctly cost him his chance of refereeing the final or indeed any other world cup game . I wonder whether if it hadn't been Brazil whether he would have been so harshly treated .
So in essence you are saying that when a corner is awarded with 1 second left on the clock then the ref should in effect add on another 10 or 15 seconds to allow the attacking team chance to score ? I'm sorry but i don't agree with that .
