Is there a problem with embedded YouTube videos on NSC at the moment?

All I see when these videos get embedded using the [yt][/yt] function is a little square box with coloured shapes in it where the video should be.

Is it my ISP being a dick or is there a genuine problem. I've checked for other threads on this and can't see anything, but apologies if it's been raised.

doesn't that little box with the shapes mean you need to upgrade flash or something? i had that a few days ago and got the bright spark son to fix it and he did in two seconds flat.
