Same here.
Get to 35 points and Fulham will have to better our results by 10 points. They have only got 8 left to play, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Utd and Villa away.
Although we may not get many points from the next three games, I can see us picking up points v Sheff U, Leeds, Wolves and WHU. My points tracker still has us reaching 41 points, so I'm fairly relaxed as well.

When will people learn. We have good patches and bad. This seasons far from over for us.

Enjoy the last two wins but dont think for a second we arent still involved in a relegation fight. If we can drag Burnley and Saints back into it then id feel a little more comfortable.

We are closer to having a shout of finishing 12th as we do 18th. 9 games of possibilities, good and bad.

See no reason to dwell on the threat of relegation which is 6pts and a game in hand behind us any more or less than 12th place is 5 pts ahead. Cuts both ways taking the good and the bad.

I'm not going to get too excited just yet. We've got a tough run in, United, Everton, Chelsea, City, West Ham, Arsenal, Wolves, Leeds......yes we are very capable of picking up points in that lot, but I've supported the Albion long enough to know that nothing ever pans out the way you want. I fully expect this to be nerve wracking.

United - outplayed them down here, sheff utd won there. Sit back and carefully counter in numbers like we did at Anfield
Everton - good side but patchy
Chelsea - tough one but priorities might lie elsewhere
City - gave them a game. Hopefully they will be thinking about the FA Cup/UCL
West Ham - powerful side but we have a great recent record against them with Webster back to deal with their threat in the air...
Arsenal - meh
Wolves - we’re their bogey side and they are a completely different proposition without jiminez
Leeds - already beaten them once...

We’ve come on leaps and bounds since Graham took charge, but we need a full season of proof. We should know by now that everything can change game by game.

We have no more true 6 pointers. (Sheff Utd have No chance of catching us)
Looking back we have drawn too many games for our own good. Looking forward we could accumulate more than enough points picking up draws between now and the end of the season.

I’m really looking forward to the upcoming games, will be a good challenge for us. We’re so good away I don’t think we should be trembling about going to Old Trafford. And Everton at home is completely winnable.

Chelsea away will be a massive test.

In terms of the tide turning, I’d probably look at the last ten games, as it is a better indicator of how we are doing generally. Are we going up or down the table. I wonder how many of us would guess that over the last ten matches we are 6th in the league, even with those three inexplicable defeats? I’d say the tide has turned....

Well as they say we never doing things easy....but last night certainly helped ease the nerves...fingers crossed we can find a couple more big results along the way

Not really true though, is it? Previous 3 seasons we’ve mathematically secured our objective, survival, with games to spare, and we actives promotion with 3 games to spare. Going back to 2016 for the last time we had a last-day drama scenario, although my favourite was the 2014 Reading pitch invasion where they’d somehow got the message that our game had finished 2-2.

Yes Fulham have gathered more points of late but not as many as us. I think Newcastle’s form and their remaining fixtures gives us additional breathing space.

The difference is we have just played two piss poor sides and won. Two weeks ago we played two piss poor sides and lost. I agree that our next three games will determine whether we can be a solid mid-table side or, hopefully not, a team destined to be in another relegation avoiding scrap. Watch this space.

Yep. Potter needs 10 points from 9 games to secure our best ever EPL points finish and our first ever 5th consecutive season in the top flight.
In his full season (of proof) he ended with 41 points - our biggest PL total so far.

The odd thing with us- and I think this has happened a few times in recent seasons- is that we win a couple, then we have a run of games that look equally winnable, and we stuff them up. Thus, you play really poor teams like Palace and West Brom and lose, so all appears doom and gloom. We look at the next fixtures and think "yikes", but go and win them instead. We secured safety under Hughton by beating Arsenal and United, after losing to far worse teams, like Cardiff, Bournemouth and Southampton.

I'm fascinated by our remaining fixtures (in no particular order):

United at Old Trafford- in theory a straightforward home win, but they are ropey at home, lacking in confidence, by no means a cohesive side, and boy do we owe them after their disgusting win at the Amex.

Arsenal- no reason we couldn't beat them: we've had points off them at the Emirates more than once in recent seasons. A very flaky team.

Wolves- our record against them isn't too shabby, and they've struggled this season.

West Ham- we've a decent record against them in the PL, and hopefully their latest annual bubble has just burst. Not nearly as good a side as they think they are.

Leeds- can't defend for toffee.

Blades- if we play poorly in any of these games, this will be the one.

Chelsea- not easy to score against now Tuchel has settled in. Never beaten them. Tough one on paper. Need a miracle.

Man City....er....they might be pissed by then?

Everton....hmmm...though we never win at Goodison, hopefully we can do them at home. Another team which isn't as good as the media will have you think.
