We've never been a giant before, so I quibble with your terminology of the subject here. I doubt anyone thought we'd be spending this sort of money though - and if we are due to break the record again in a week, then who knows ........ although I think many prem clubs have really re-defined the term "giant" to be a level we are still a long, long way off.

i mean, are wigan a GIANT club because they are about to embark on their SEVENTH consecutive season in the premier league?

we are certainly coming back to life...If Hull City can make the premier league, we can too BUT it will not be this coming season, top 10 finish please. Maybe a little higher!

But with the signing we've made, it will get tasty!!!

I hate to say this, but personally I would like to see us doing well in the Championship, but I really am not sure about whether I would like to see us in the Premier League fighting relegation every season.
