Begovic at Portsmouth??

I've heard lots of whispers going around that slade will bring in a BIG keeper and with his first choice ruled out, more than likely one on loan. The name that keeps getting repeated is Begovic.

Apparently he was taken on loan by Slade at the beginning of the season for Yeovil and has just made his premiershit debut. Highly rated.

To add to this I've just heard that Hart will be sending him out again next season, to gain experience. Co-incidence?

Might be him might not. But I would imagine Slade will want to sign someone on a permanent deal as 1st choice. I would imagine that Begovic would need to be starting as part of any loan deal.

I don't think he'll go for potential, I think if he wants to replace Michel as #1, then he'll be bring in someone who is experienced. It wouldn't make much sense to bring in a young guy who has never been a first choice anywhere.

But he might not want to bring in someone to take over, he might bring someone like Begovic in and then decide after seeing them both pre-season, it just depends what he wants to do.
