Not in a great way. It's like they can't hear anyone else or themselves for that matter.

Spot on, they are singing one song, usually a crap one when the others in the North are singing We are Brighton from the South, and that's when the WSU sometimes join in.

The under the police box guys are great at starting other songs and bringing in new ones. But need more people to join in and likewise join in when the rest of the North starts another song

The Goldstone wasn't always a cauldron of noise though. I remember Alan Mullery complaining that you could hear a pin drop after our 1-0 win over Oldham in 1978.
The crowd that day was just short of 20,000.

Oh please, you're joking right?

Just like the Amex now more often than not The Goldstone was a morgue, absolutely nothing is different.

As this thread proves we just only choose to remember the good times.

I like this old favourite, just a little tweek so can be sung at The Amex.

All the lads should've seen us coming
Everyone was blue and white
Everyone was running
All the lads and lasses
All with smiling faces
Going down The Falmer Road
To see the Brighton Aces

There was me thinking the atmosphere was pretty good on Saturday, particularly given the small away crowd.
