The job was a poison chalice anyway and as i've said b4 why did we let Adams/White sign 12 players when they must of known that Adams was to be sacked and Slade was then coming aboard....its a pity they didn't ask his opinion on the loanees b4 they were signed

True. We have so many players now on our books, and to be honest, I don't really think we've added much quality. But overall it has been such a shambles this season. We're really seeing how bad things had got under Adams. I think Slade could be great for us, but I'm worried how much damage the run in and almost certain relegation is going to do to him and the squad. Ideally I'd like Whing to be made captain and work with Slade next season for an immediate return. But I can't see AW staying. He's too good for this disaster. Far too good.
