I cannot believe what I am reading. Bringing on both Dicker and Carole relieved the pressure on our midfield and allowed us to go forward again so those substitutions worked.

Totally agree, Norwich's passing and movement out of defence meant Murray spent a lot of time chasing back to provide the extra cover leaving Holroyd isolated up front and the ball coming back as soon as we cleared it. Thought it was the right tactical move and worked for a while until they bought on the extra forward.

I think I'm more disappointed than angry as we actually played well for long periods and kept the division's top scorers quiet and on another day Murray's two efforts kicked off the line would have gone in.

hang on hang on, before you start slating me, why carnt you just accept the facts and live in the real world, not won at home since oct, poyet buys back a player named carole. who we got shot of cause he was no good, yet mr know all poyet says the guys better now .. yeah right !!!! poyet drops our top scorer,, plays hart who s well well past his sell by date, and takes hoydold off (whoever you call him ) and brings carole on, whos done zilt since being here, and were back in bottom 4, staring league 2 in the face, im sorry but poyet is no good tactics wise and manger wise... anyone who thinks diff is just a complete muppet...

Or Carole was on a free so no buying involved. Drops or did Forster make it impossible for Poyet to pick by choosing to air his problems to the media. Holroyd didn't get a kick in the second half and was looking done in and Poyet brings Dicker on for him and changes the formation. Carole came on for LuaLua who had run out of legs. But don't worry about facts you keep ranting

What i want to know is why haven't we put out the same f***ing team we played against Southampton , not once since Southampton have we put that team out . I don't think Poyet knows what hes doing sub wise , takes our two most attackive players of with 30 odd minutes to go , hes basically inviting them to nick the win , why the f*** isn't Gary Dicker playing ? and so much for Poyet knowing how good Seb Carole is .

Does Poyet's style remind anyone of Dean Wilkins? Seems to be a similar trend of the older players falling out of favour and some public disagreements. Maybe coaches really shouldn't become managers!

What did Dicker do once he came on? who would you drop the impressive Navarro or our captain who drives from midfield?

Well sorry but Dicker gives us more options when we attack , i think Crofts and Navarro are to much of the same player but the difference being Navarro releases it to early and gives away possesion .

Hold on a minute. Whether or not it was right to bring Carole on (it wasn't I agree) the fact is that after defending superbly for 80 minutes our DEFENDERS and GOALKEEPER let in 2 goals with poor defending. Blaming that on Carole seems a bit rich. :wrong:

Agree with that. Blimey we came within 10 minutes of beating the team top of the table, with the joint best away record in the division who score goals for fun - 28 in 15 away games before today.

Thought today was the best we've played at home for some time.

Carole did just stand there and let their defender come forward and start the move for the first goal. He hadn't been on long and should have been busting a gut to close them down

The end product is that we were done by an individual mistake by a player that no manager can account for. Stand up and be counted Kuipers, who should have claimed the ball for the 2nd goal. It was his to claim but he failed and just stayed on his line.

Absolute nonsense, no problem with dicker coming on but bringing on Carole was a huge blunder and cost us the game.

Allowed us to go forward, with what exactly? Murray just left up there isolated on his own? We basically conceded the pitch to Norwich and just invited them to score. Dumb subsitutions, and not for the first time.

I hope Poyet learns from this and doesn't repeat such an error. We should not have lost today, an hours good work undone by poor late subsitutions.

I disagree, the shape of the team changed after the substitutions and it made it easier for Norwich to create those chances in the first place. Leaving Murray up front on his own basically said to Norwich we are not even going to try and score for the last half hour. This against the most free-scoring team in the league, it was rank bad decision on Poyet's part. I hope he learns from it.

Spot on

Shouting "Away" and hoping that somebody will head the ball out of danger so that he can stay rooted to the spot was not a great tactic in the situation, IMHO.

Can't these people go support another club please?

As a Brighton fan I really could do without losing another manager because of such idiocy from our own fans.

Agree. Despite criticizing Poyet I am still behind him. Either way, new manager or not I think we will go down. Hope I am wrong.

You really have it in for Kuipers, don't you? A slanting cross from a dead ball with their centre half unmarked at the far post, and it is the goalkeeper's fault. What coaching manual did you get that from!
