A convicted terrorist.

Yeah no shit the apartheid regime considered a man wanting to crush it a terrorist. If there was a "no Beach Seagull"-regime in place, they would convict you.

A state saying "this group or individual is a terrorist" really dont mean shit. Terrorist is a very flawed word that essentially just means "enemy of the state".

Which bit should we be most proud of, the Windrush scandal or the fact that coronvirus is disproportionately nasty to BAME people who seem to be in jobs in the direct firing line?

Perhaps if they studied harder and worked harder they wouldn't be in the 'direct firing line.' Stop waving the 'racist' card and grab the many opportunities to be had.

A convicted terrorist.

A convicted 'Freedom fighter' who sat in prison for most of his life for fighting (was leader of group who blew up some power lines) for equal rights as other people of a different colour. The apartheid regime were the 'terrorists'. They systematically applied terror on the majority population to enforce their regime

Shooting children for example

Wow eh? Is that the best you can do...................awaits the 'I'm lost for words' reply. BTW I would apply the study harder work harder mantra to any person regardless of race, age, gender etc in order to better yourself. No use whinging about having no money if not prepared to try and get a better paid job.

Now that is ****ing embarrassing.
my mother (if you hadn’t cottoned on yet I’m not 100% English but 8’m in good company as neither was Churchill) came to U.K. in the early 60’s! to work in hospitals because of shortage of labour. Without her and many other foreigners we wouldn’t have an NHS.

Ah 'freedom fighter' eh? Did ya see the IRA as 'freedom fighters?' Do you see the terrorists who have targeted England recently as 'freedom fighters'?

I'm most certainly not lost for words, but the ones I would choose to describe you wouldn't be fit to post, here.

I'm mostly talking about the ones who work for the NHS as doctors and nurses and inhale huge viral load (as opposed to the relative safety of walking around in the open air with, say, a bag of parking tickets to hand out). But, yeah, maybe you should contact the family of the Victoria station train worker who was spat at, contracted corona virus and died, and suggest she'd still be alive if she'd studied harder.

Yes of course.

Almost every country at some point had a war that they are very happy that they won despite bombing and burning houses, kids, villages... Very few find it unacceptable when the side they believe is the "good" side bombs the shit out of what they percieve to be the "evil" side.

I'm not in the least embarrassed. As I said i would apply the study harder work harder philosophy to anyone. Look at me as as traffic enforcement officer, I started a while ago and I'm now very nearly a 'deputy team supervisor'. They've told me in 2 or 3 years time I will get there, but keep working hard.

You can't legislate for criminality. Massive admiration and respect from me to those in the front line. I think study hard, work hard is pretty sound advice.

Ah, the 'whataboutery' response. Feel free to start a thread on on those issues, but if you think those issues compare in any way, I feel sorry for you. When white police start shooting black children to enable a despicable regime to cling to power, im able to see the difference.
