Well, I assume the poster is inferring that they were black but then black people seem to be in the minority on these protest marches. They are dominated by young white women ( most of whom would otherwise be in seats of learning and not have time on their hands ) aged late teens to early/mid 20's. Lets call them the spoilt generation. White middle class. No struggles in life. Everything provided and paid for. All have passed through our dumbed down education system. All think they are brighter than they are. All want to campaign on whatever rights issue is fashionable at the time. Not old enough for Brexit vote....Trump against women....Climate change...BLM....bring them all on...the more the merrier. Its not enough to protest peacefully. Its better to keep screaming your message over and over again, on the basis that hysteria works better than quiet consensus. After all, they know best. You can't have any tolerance in society for values that existed years ago. Those people should have known better. They shouldn't have been slave traders or racists or colonialists.
Its all pretty mixed up when people are calling for the boycott of white owned shops, destroying public monuments and putting pressure on broadcasters to remove programmes that are now, apparently, offensive, when you can find a number of reference points to Winnie Mandela around London. Roads, houses,schools etc. Probably one of the worst racists who has ever lived. Who was instrumental in the torture and killing of thousands. Who revelled in seeing opponents wearing rubber tyres filled with petrol, round their necks and then setting light to them. Ghastly women. An object lesson in brutality, racism and intolerance.
Think a letter might be winging its way to Sadiq Khan but there again, I'm probably wasting my time. Churchill will be removed before Winnie Mandela.

Seeing as you, presumably, went to school before education was "dumbed down", why don't you know the difference between imply and infer?

Is it really so hard to distinguish between crimes perpetrated by criminals, terrorists and lunatics, and those committed by those in authority? Is that really not plain enough?

The Manchester bombings had a huge outpouring of outrage and emotion with various vigils and a globally televised benefit concert. So what are you talking about?

And who wasn't outraged at the sex abuse and trafficking, and interesting you only mention Asian gangs and not the widespread worldwide child abuse by Catholic clergy that was deliberately hidden by those in authority with the awful truth that people of God, with the trust of their worshippers knowingly placed pedophiles in their communities. I was outraged by both and still am. 9 of the Rochdale offenders are in prison. Remind me how many of the thousands of pedophile priests have gone to jail?

A crime is a crime not matter who has committed it.

There wasn't the same level of 'outrage' and debate the killing in USA has provoked nowhere near it.

I'm angered over any child abuse no matter what the ethnicity or the religion of the perpetrators are. I don't know how many Catholic peadophiles have gone to prison a fair amount I would imagine.

Yawns.....'peaceful' 'small minority' has to be said doesn't it. otherwise it's racism. Wonder how many 'clapped for the NHS' then attended an event which could easily cause a 'second spike'. Hypocrites.

I sympathise for DC he did what he thought was the right thing to do for his family but he got slaughtered but why weren't those protesting over the killing of an armed robber slaughtered in the press and social media. Before I get called a 'racist' if it was a white armed robber who was killed I would be no more sympathetic. I do think it was disgusting what the Cop did to Goerge Floyd, nobody should die like that, I do wonder how the people who he robbed at gunpoint felt? I also think there are far more worthy but unfortunately less fashionable causes to demonstrate over such as the targeting of white girls by asian men.

If a crime is committed by an individual, or organised gang, all we can do is use the tools at our disposal; the police, authorities and justice system to ensure justice is served and deter offences.

If a crime is committed by the police or an authority, and that is repeated to the extent it is institutional, then you have undermined your entire justice system and democracy itself.

It certainly is. On Wednesday we were being told that statues and memorials need to be protected by footy lads as they're in such grave danger. Yet, when a muslim man actually protects them apparently it's a disgrace. Was anyone planning on heading to London today, during lockdown, and admiring the Cenotaph? Is it possible to admire it when it's surrounded by 20 fatties in Clone Island?
