Is making a banner/placard in support of Evra for the Liverpool FA cup game wise?

I hope this is a wind up? Why on earth would you want to massively antagonise the home support like that? Worse they may think its some sort of representation of all our support. What a ridiculous idea. Wtf has it got to do with you or us?

Tbh for myself I'd kind of hoped it would be but then I won't be there so I'll keep quiet eh? :) (although of course we should steer clear of anything that may stir up violent tendencies).

Was going to post these exact words. Leave it alone, not the time or place and nothing to do with us.

i can see why people might think it would be ill-timed, or just a bit pointless, but to claim it is 'not our battle' is the definition of cowardice. were you encouraging albion fans not to wear green earlier in the season in support of plymouth fans? if you think something as trvial as football is worthy of common support, i don't understand why you would consider race hate less deserving of your condemnation.

What on earth are you on about? Youre not going to march or an anti rasicm protest you are going to a football match you tit. Do it, but I tell you what, wave your little banner outside the kop before the game if you want them to see it. Will you? Of course not because you havent got the guts if youre not safely tucked behind some police and stewards.

I'd rather just concentrate on supporting our team rather than meddling in something we'd have no affect on anyway.

From a rather more 'selfish' point of view, I wouldn't want us involved in this given that Gus has already had a controversial comment quoted on this matter. Wouldn't want him to think it was in any way aimed at him.

Good point. Media love reading all sorts of nonsense into these sort of things too. Best left well alone I say. It's been dealt with, move on.

To be frank, er.. no.

Give a fiver to an anti racism charity to do some proper good, rather than a futile gesture in completely the wrong environment.
