Undoubtedly. You can't perform at that consistency and quality, at such a high level, for so long, potentially be a one club player, captained us to our most successful season ever, and be a local lad, and not be first on the list of club legends .

That's what 'greatest' means to me. The biggest legend at our club. There's technically better players in the team right now. There are players who have achieved more in the past, or who will go on to achieve greatness in the future, but they will do it with other clubs. There are players who we built teams around in the past, like Bobby, or who played more games like Gary Hart, or who were great captains like Horton, or became one of the greatest players of their generation, like Lawro, but the all round longevity, talent, leadership, local connection, likeability, dedication and success points to one man alone.

It’s easy to eulogise players from the past , as their legend grows over time.
But IMO Lewis Dunk is our greatest ever player. And in the years to come he will be recognised as such.
