Real real point, is if she picked a better example, she could have started a real debate. IMO violence at grass roots level will happen whatever, because their are dickheads about. But it could be cut back, if premier league referees did their job correctly. All this fuss about the Leicester player getting booked last week for removing his shirt "because its the rules" yet no one mentions when a players tells the ref to "**** off" to his face, there is a rule that covers that as well, yet they choose not to apply it.

Now I think that issue a bigger issue, and deserves more comments, that a throw away comment about a "bird presenter not knowing what she's talking about". YOU and many on here clearly think opposite, as you only seem to pick up on the casual sexism.

Another issue Lewis Dunk is likely to make his England debut this week, and will be nervous enough and under enough pressure as it is, and this two bob presenter has tried to make an issue out of something that clearly wasn't there, just to get themselves attention. Male or female, its a nasty ****.

She clearly wanted to make a valid point, but being clueless about what she is talking about, has picked totally the wrong clip to make that point with. It's clear Dunk was shouting at someone else.

It would not have been hard for her to find a clip of a premier league player in the referees face. This is just very very very lazy journalism, from someone who no doubt got handed the job, because she hasn't got a cock between her legs. It clear she didn't work hard for the position, as if she had she would tried a bit harder to find a clip that back up her point, which is a serious matter.

If you want to take it further, then if Dunk WAS abusing the ref, why did he not show him the red card, as per the rules. Instead of the blaming the players, I would look more at the premier league referees for failing in their duty. If they sent off premier league players who abuse them, maybe the message would filter,

He swore but not at the referee which is the accusation. He wasn't facing the referee or actually near him as another camera angle shows.

There are people trying to get Dunk a retrospective red card for a situation that hasn't happened.
