What really stinks about Manchester United was the advertising around the ground for Arabic fan sites and the like. They really won't miss a trick and they are lapping up all the attention they can get in other nations they can exploit.

It's just one big sell out. At least Leeds are working from the bottom up again

Not to mention the soccer schools in Gloucester, Peterborough, etc.

Even if Leeds were the footballing representatives of Earth , playing the pick of the rest of the Universe ' for the right of Mankind to continue to exist ; I still couldn't bring myself to support them .

The only team in the entire world I don't want to beat Utd are Palace, so I'm absolutely delighted. Just seen Ferguson on ITV attacking the fact that 'only' five minutes of injury time were played, saying it's an 'insult to the players'. No, you graceless, classless, arrogant, bullying, churlish, sulking fuckwit. What's insulting to the players is the constant 'Utd time' added on to every game at Old Trafford that anybody else is daring to look like getting a result from, and your red-faced fury every time you don't get things exactly your own way. f*** off.

What a weekend - absolutely splendid. Marvellous scenes, in fact. Us through, the Red Scum out. All it needs is a decent draw to come out of the bag this afternoon to top the lot. :smokin:

No, it is a day to celebrate. Yesterday we got the furthest we have in the greatest cup competition in the world for probably about 15 years and today the team that nearly ruin it for me just by being in it go out.

HAPPY DAYS!!!!!

I don't mind Man Utd at all whereas Leeds are just scum (sorry Starry and hubby) so the result was a disaster, especially since Leeds hadn't won at Old Truffle since the 1980s and had a big hang up about it.

I'm really dissapointed Man U lost. Grew up with my dad supporting them, so I always want them to do well..

More importantly though, I would have loved a chance to draw Man U. Leeds away would be so, so bad. Ground I am going to in February, been before, and a guaranteed loss.

That's the good thing for me, we can't play them. If we drew them it would mean that I would miss a game in the cup run. Such is my hatred for them that I couldn't even stand to watch my own team play against them.

I hate both teams together with their supporters and in a 26 mile marathon, Leeds edge the worst of my hate by a short neck, mainly because of that scum Bates.

As for the result showing there is little difference between the premiership and league one, you are having a joke.
