Is it down to just Southampton, Cardiff and us for the dreaded third relegation spot now?

Plenty of others could, but I can't see the third spot being anyone other than 1 of the 3
Of course other teams can drop into a relegation battle (just like we have).
Is it just me that finds the whole media driven absolutes discussion a bit daft. All season we have had 'Can Liverpool win the League?' 'Are Spurs in the titile race?" etc etc.
Before a ball was kicked the so called experts (Sutton) were saying that Cardiff were down. City are going to win by a canter etc etc
Surely the reason we like football is that it is unpredictable? Is this the media buying into the big six's vision of football being about the trophies being shared around them to the exclusion of all others.
And anyone that dares suggest that they prefer the Championship because it is a more even competition must be ridiculed and laughed at.
I love football and enjoy the Premier League but without the greed and money of the big six (make that the european mega clubs) it could be so much better.
