Give it time.
Not sure about Elphick and Lynch, would like to see more of Elphick and Virgo though.
I'm worried that unless the style of football at home changes we are gonna be losing more fans as well as slipping into the lower half of the table which will drive away even more fans. I can see us going to sub 4k crowds if MA does not sort out the tactics at home very soon.
I don't think we will get relegated as our style of play will always get us points away from home.
Really very disappointed with the backwards steps our football has taken this season as at tail the end of last season I had real hopes of DW making a similar improvement this year as he did last year from the previous season. Brighton playing hoof ball is never gonna bring the crowds back.
Adams has been given the funds and although I don't expect us to finish in the top two I did expect the quality of football to be way better than it currently is. I am not convinced that he is the right man for the job but after one fantastic result this viewpoint seems to be heresy on here.
Other than the Crewe and Man City games, I think we have played poorly this season. Why we persist in trying to play the long ball when we have two smallish strikers, and we're not very good at it, is beyond me. The key to getting out of this division is to defend well, keep the ball on the deck, play the passing game and run at the opposition's penalty box at pace. It's clear from Wednesday's night's performance that we are capable of doing this so why don't we just adapt our style of play accordingly? If Adams' preference really is for the long ball game, then he is not the manager to bring back the crowds to Withdean or get us out of League 1 however much it pains me to say so. I'm still trying to KEEP THE FAITH but if we're still playing in the same way and are no further up the table by Xmas I will seriously start to doubt Micky's competence as a manager.
