you can sell them to raise money for charity or donate them for a raffle. some people fall on hard times and may need to sell them for personal gain

Has Gary Hart got any shirts left to sell? He's had quite a few on ebay recently. I don't recall anyone whinging about Harty swapping shirts with his beloved Spurs players.

Noone has said that his shirt and Gerrard's shirt are going on the wall. There's nothing wrong with it.

Quite. And it seems to be pretty well drummed into Liverpool players to swap shirts and generally treat their lower League opponents with respect. Sign of a class club.

Not sure that's the case. A freind of mine was a Havant & W player, when they were at Anfield a couple of seasons back, and says that the Liverpool players were mostly up-themselves twats, with Gerrard chief twat amongst them. He also played for Farnborough at Highbury, and said that Arsenal treated them superbly.
