Is it just me or does anyone else think that KLL is massively off the pace??

Yep sadly looked off the pace and not match fit. That said he beat the fill back at least twice and put in two great crosses, for CMS and the Barnes penalty claim. Imagine what he will do if he can get fully fit.

So you are expecting him to be far less effective this season then?

He pissed all over League 1 RB's last season, but needs to do a bit more than knock the ball past this division's versions and try to outrun them. Mix it up a bit, go inside, outside, give-and-go. As posted elsewhere, when fit, he does have blistering pace, and still managed to put some brilliant balls across the six yard box today, which might have had better end product on another day...

Poyets first major mistake was seen today, Noone being taken off for a lualua who was found wanting.
Noone was far more dangerous and knew what he wanted to do, Lua lua was poor and always looking for freekicks instead of taking the man on and beating him.

That's exactly how i saw it Noone was a thorn in Blackpool's side and Gus did holloway's boys a bit of a favour today by making that substitution.

Looked a bit off pace, a bit clumsy, and also didn't help following in Noone's footsteps...

Noone was superb today, but at his best LuaLua is the better player. He skinned the fullback numerous timed and put in two crosses that should have been goals, what more do you want?

Not just off the pace but often was in a poor postion when we were quickly counter attacking and gave the ball away a number of times. That said still put in some good crosses and won a few free kicks. He needs game time.

I think people are missing the point a bit here. Noone had had a great game but was starting to flag, had taken a heavy challenge just before half time and had just been booked before the substitution. It wasn't a mistake by Poyet as he was trying to keep some momentum going it didn't, on this occassion, pay off. Also, we have three games at home this week and Poyet needs to manage that. Maybe Hoskins will be fit for Tuesday but whatever happens then, Peterborough are going to be no walkover next Saturday.

What a lot of nonsense on this thread. KLL came on for 20 mins after only having 45 mins football this season and put in two balls that should have ended up in the back of the net and turned their RB inside out on several occasions. You can hardly blame the bloke for being slightly rusty at times but saw plenty today to suggest he'll be a top asset this season.

Can't argue with that! I can see why people have brought it up, he hasn't been quite as influential yet as he was last season but he's only had 65 mins? of football so far this season.

Nooney is on the fire. The time will come with Nooney is off form and LuaLua is on fire. It's brilliant to have so many options.

I agree he is not match fit yet and I think he needs playing time and I hope he is going to have a chance to get this, he needs a couple of good 60mins under his belt (without getting injured!). On his day he is brilliant and I hope it will be his day soon.
In terms of the KLL/Noone debate I think KLL is the better player but Noone is more consitent and certainly less injury prone (touch lots of wood)

Finally, some sense.

I was talking to a Blackpool fan on the way home. He said he was shocked that he was taken off. Said he terrified their defence and that he was different class. I think if he stayed on we would have won and probably scored again

2 outstanding crosses - both of which had goal all over them. Still he can only get better.

Lua Lua, on his day, is a different class to the players we have at the moment. Don't worry, he will be back with a bang soon enough.
