Okay fair enough. Although I have heard other versions of what happened I am happy to take this version of events as gospel. Thank you
Unbelievable.....

If they're doing this to fellow fans they should be banned.
I spoke to my girlfriend who was the woman who apologised & is a completely independent witness (She's even a Reading supporter )
According to her there had been abuse towards WW & co all game threats to punch him etc
It was then hightened when they were mocking the chants of champions by our fans.
She turned around & saw TCB with his hand round the kids throat after an exchange of verbals between him & one of the kids.
She didn't see anyone spitting but did see WW wiping flob off his coat.
She said she was sorry to them after the game for having to put up with that.
i am a little confused as to where you see the contradiction. if you are the devils advocate as you cliam, then you need to take opposing or directly contradictory stances, rather than simply not feeling as strongly about something, or agreeing to a certain extent.
Tyrone is seemingly taking the same stance as me: there are worse things than spitting.
You're telling him there's no point in him trying to discuss such a thing, because there's a different attitude amongst Brits.
(In this instance, it is my actual opinion, not Devil's advocate)
But given the bullshit posted by these two it would be helpful if someone could confirm the spitting incident took place and wasn't just made up to defend a grown man grabbing a youth by the throat which so far appears to be the only thing seen by an independent witness.
no i am not saying there is a different attitude amongst brits (as opposed to who? I stated that I was surprised that an Australian attitude would differ significantly from the prevailing British one, not quite the same thing). I am saying that this is in my opinion the view of most Brits. And having a slight dig at continentals. My post implies I dont know what the aussie view is as a rule, just i would be surprised if was much different bearing in mind the cultural similarities.
I was suggesting to him that the vast majority of British blokes would find a smack in the mouth much more acceptable in a dispute than spitting at their opponent. I fail to see how anyone can disagree that thats the majority view, even if it isnt their own. Even if I dont have any proof to back it up.
We can go round in circles all day having pointless discussions about whether its more dangerous or not, or if personally you take a contrary view, but it doesnt stop it being the consensus on here, or in our culture. Thats my point, not whether its less lethal or if other people disagree with me. Of course there are worse things than spitting, when people start trotting out nonsense like well he could have chainsawed him to death thats worse than spitting, then they are just trolling or not really up for the debate.
I hope the people who did this appreciate that they got away with it lightly, one of these days these mouthy little shits will undoubtedly upset the wrong person and take the kick in of their lives.

Sorry, I must have mis-read. I have a bit of a cold at the moment, so am not totally focused.
Put 'em down at birth and stop these chavs breeding more trouble. Quite literally.
Although spitting is completely wrong and disgusting act, if TCB & WW didn't act like complete bellends fishing to wind people up, they would not draw this kind of attention.
Maybe they should think about how they act online and not draw attention to themselves
