Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Tom Davies, last week in NYC. In fairness, DCL has kind of carried it off. I can only assume that Davies lost a bet with someone. ???

Proof, should any be needed, that money bears no relation to class. Pair of entry level PL wallies

I knew winkle pickers would come back into fashion at some time, but didn't expect them to be purple.

You can nearly always spot a professional footballer in a crowd as it usually costs a lot of money to look so stupid.

Clearly a bet, we've all been there, haven't we?

I would have thought ''smoking jackets'' would have been banned at the same time as ''smoking'' in public areas

You could definitely have bought Calvert-Lewin's clobber in Frogget in North Street circa 1979

Especially the shirt, are those massive collars now back in fashion then?

I think you’ll find we call them dressing gowns south of the border

Isn't Tom Davies a scouserange. Seemed like a grounded local lad "done good" Now look what Premier league football has done to him!

Shirley Easy the better question would be:-

'What would you be prepared to wear in order to be on the receiving end of a free all inclusive first class trip to NYC, rubbing shoulders with the 1%ers?'

Well personally, I'd prefer to pay for myself and go somewhere for a bit of sun, rather than prance round a sub-zero NYC looking like a catastrophic bell. But each to their own, I suppose.

I find it hard to believe you don't have a price.

After all we look like catastrophic bells wherever we go, so might as well get paid for it!!
