I have replied to this poll with a big Yes. At the moment I am feeling (having just got back from upton park, trains back to reading cancelled) bloody pissed off and embarrassed by what I saw today. But to get rid of Gus would be nuts. at the amex this season I have seen some of the best football I have ever seen by a Brighton team, but today was shocking.

By today he's bound to be here because no better positioned club will take a chance. His recent erratic behaviour has made sure the Chelsea job will never be his.

I wonder who the 18 morons (at time of writing) would like to see replace Gus?

The idea of instant success in football is laughable. Some of the twats on here think that if we sack someone and bring in a new manager we are some how gonna be AMAZING!

I know this is often wheeled out, but what if Manchester United sacked Alex Ferguson in the late eighties.

No

His touch-line antics are ridiculous. Needs to realise that when we lose/play crap, it's not always the fault of the ref!! Just looks a right twat (reported in media this week as prancing around like "Mother Goose" on the touch line on Tuesday night!?) Leave the fourth official alone!

Gus Poyet is one of the best things ever to happen to B&HA, along with Tony Bloom.
Together there's an excellent chance B&HA will be a PL team in fifteen months, without them B&HA would still be struggling in League One.

Spot on. The turnaround under Gus has been FANTASTIC. One of the best managers Albion have had in decades, and I fully believe he will go down as one of our best ever. I don't understand how some still can't see how massively far we've come under Gus.

Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes !!! Jesus what a daft question !!!
The only hinderance he has is the financial side and he has openly said this ! We have to spend wisely, BUT !! I do feel there are players we have missed out on this season because of financial reasons.
We don't want to end up like Pompey have though DO WE !!!

No - Too stubborn, has never brought in a goal scorer into the club; sticks with useless Dicker, headless chicken CMS, Navarro (league 1 player) & two useless goalies. Enoough said. Have overachieved this season. If here next, we will be lower half.

Bellend.

No. You've got that completely wrong. We are lucky to have them both.
he will have had a look at our first season, and now knows where we have to strengthen.
early doors it was plain that we wouldnt go down...a whole season to suss the squad out, evaluate what is needed in this division and then get tony to back him up.
having said that, i do believe his tactics away from home are a bit suspect.
just my opinion like

100% this.

It really is amazing that a poor result brings out the absolute worst of the bi-polar knobbers on NSC

Today was a nightmare, but does the OP really, really belive that our performance over the whole of this season would justify getting rid of Gus Poyet?

Really?

Exactly. All the usual suspects rubbing their sweaty hands with glee and revelling in a terrible result. sme want to avoid NSC at times.

We have gone from league 1 to the championship, that's not that far is it?yes the football is better I agree and it's been a good season. You also have to remember gus has had money to spend and we have a spanking new stadium,so this season is no major surprise.

What he hell?
Who on earth could do a pompey, ridiculous comment considering we will not ever pay a player 80k a week and have debts of 130 million.

No, it's not far, in fact, it's easy peasy. Anyone can do it, like Huddersfield or MK Dons or other teams who have been at the top of League 1 for years let alone teams in the relegation zone, like we were 3 years ago. Don't write off Poyet's achievements by underestimating what he has done so far. He has a lot to learn but he is learning all the time and improving.

Who's writing poyet off?
I will back him like most and I'm sure he will succeed next season once he gets rid of dead wood:)
