I know how I've felt when I've interviewed and offered and am still waiting for an answer more than 24 hours later. I wonder what Bloom's thinking tonight?

Was sure this would be done by now. Once again it looks dodgy. Let's see what tomorrow brings. We have the sideshow of a football match too.

Just a wild guess, but I doubt there will be any further news on this tonight!

Could a deal have been done yesterday and the club are waiting to announce it, with a Big game for us today it would mess up Derbys plans

I'm finding these people 'in the know' quite hard to believe when they say he's been 'offered a 2 year contract'. How many footballers get offered a contract that will end in a future January window? Very few from my recollection.

On a separate note, anyone who says that a deal is being done that includes players in a swap is virtually always bullshitting - these sort of transfers are rare as hell, and are just over enthusiastic speculation.

For god's sake. He has to decide whether this is financially good for his career and if it is likely to lead to better prospects, ie he plays and gets promoted with us or is in the shop window for bigger clubs.

When it says "2 year contract", 99% of the time it wont expire 2 years to that date, but rather in the Summer 2 years time (so from this year to Summer 2016).

Not the real one
One thing I know now, is that his grace period for playing shit is getting shorter.
For example, if Grabban had signed straight away, said what a great club we are with the highest gates in the championship, then he would get a load of patients from the fans and 5 or 6 shit games before serious questions are asked. Now after talking to any team in the champ with a few quid and making BHAFC look like fools for bidding for him in the first place, I'd say he has 1 or 2 chances. So if he does eventually sign...IF. Then he'd better hit the ground running or he can feck off!

Yep, 1 chance. If he doesn't play well on his debut, then he's out. Forget the £1.1m we'll have spent, and get rid.

Some of the shite written on this thread is unbelievable. Put yourself in his shoes. You're about to sign when clubs higher up the table with more money come knocking. Why wouldn't you play it out and see what's right for you?

The contracts in the football world are very unusual. Liam Bridcutt wants to leave, another employer wants him more and can arguably offer a better opportunity but he is bound by a contract. There is no notice period. I don't blame Grabban for wanting to make the right move, especially given that we play one up top and that place is Ulloa's.

I see Bournemouth are rumoured to be looking at Mason from Cardiff as a replacement for Grabban when he goes, it would quite annoying if Grabban went to QPR, Reading or Leicester and Mason ended up at Bournemouth. Can you imagine the binfest on here if this happened?

Let's move on and get someone else.

He's messing us about, and to be honest can shag himself.

Very underwhelmed by his character and the whole transfer now.
