to go clubbing at all is pathetic.
Now come on TiD, reign in the snobbery. I rarely go clubbing anymore but now and again enjoy a night out at an indie club.

If you feel comfortable in any environment on your own, then it can't really be 'sad'.

Only a Billy with no mates would say something like that.
No mates? What about my imaginary friends?
Some of them are England under-21's, so don't knock 'em![]()
I should imagine that lone clubbing is like going to the cinema on your own. Should be really sad but is actually really fun.
Haven't tried clubbing on my own but would do it if REALLY bored. Goin' to the cinema on me own is no issue at all for me. I go for the film, not the social element, so if no-one's free / up for going I'll happily cruise down alone. Those that think it's 'sad' fit their own tag as they are insecure about themselves.![]()
definitely. you hardly go to sit in a dark room, watching a screen, for the chat, now do you?
see, i don't see clubbing as a 'social' occasion. for me, it's just to pull birds - so going on your own is fine (prob improve chances, actually). happily go to the footy or cinema on my tod, but not the pub for example.
i guess it all depends on what you want from the night.
Pub is a strange one. Fine during the day if you wanna read the paper and have a pint, sad as f*** if you go by yourself in the evening.
depends what sort of pub as well though
if its a lively, wetherspoons style place then going on your own in the evening is pretty sad
Are you calling Wetherspoons lively?
Are you calling Wetherspoons lively?
I recall going to the old event together and some girl with blue beads.
