[Albion] Is Glenn Still Worth a Starting Place?

Not starting but finishing when the usual ideas haven't worked. He gets to people and works them and finds the net.

He as lurking at the far post when the Everton guy put it in his own net for our winner. He will score goals from set plays and also if Trossard does the business. We need him because Maupay and Connolly are useful but no better than that.

He should not be starting but it is a squad game these days so he has a major part to play.

He was robbed of two player of the season awards with us in my view. But alas I don’t think he’s worth a place in the 18 any more. He always had quick feet albeit not a pacey player, that’s gone now and he can’t protect the ball from really good defenders any more.

I’m not even sure he’d be that effective in the Championship either - so well deserved retirement is nigh
