[Humour] Is comedy in crisis?

Have missed most of it due to family film night (currently working our way, chronologically, through Star Wars. Was The Empire Strikes Back tonight).

Have to agree that Comic Relief isn't great but then they have to be all things to all men (and women and any others that identify themselves differently). To make it better, just watched the Ricky Gervais Comic Relief sketch again. Now that was funny.

Listened to a couple during a run yesterday and laughed out loud several times. I'd already read a couple of the stories he told but they were just as funny second time round.
