The pitch looks very heavy......what is Liam doing playing with with bunch of idiots, the HOOF seems to be the favoured way of going.

What is the point of him jetting off and playing for a tin pot country that he has no connection with accept his name, to play against an even tinier tin pot country and then not even getting into the first X1 and sitting on the bench!

You could therefore say what is the point of any international teams playing bar the top 6 or so. Might as well scrap the Premier League too, just have United, City, Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal play each other every week. While we're at it, might as well make La Liga a two-team league, and Serie A could be whittled down to 3 or 4 teams tops. Apart from the fact Bridcutt has Scottish ancestry, and the chance to play international football, against players from top sides in the EPL and the Bundesliga, no, can't see any reason whatsoever for him to be there*

*sarcasm.

Last few contributions haven't been quite as good.

I know it's not his style anyway, but if it's any consolation he doesn't seem to busting a gut for them (not as much as he does for us in that deep-lying-covering-full-backs type play).

Oops, sorry, post amended below

. Apart from the fact El-Abd once went to Sharm El Sheik on holiday, likes pyramids and has an Araby sounding name, and now the chance to watch football in a warm country, against players like Tapuwa Kapini from AmaZulu and Quincy Antipas from Brondby, no, can't see any reason whatsoever for him to be there*

*humble pie.

Needs to learn that he's not got so much time at this level, quickly....

Needs to learn that the sweaties do not look for short passes more like. A team full of people not looking for the ball as far as I can tell so far.

The studio pundits are very impressed with Liam.

What they don't know is this is well below his normal level of football

BBC alba is channel 188 on virgin, no football on though

Found BBC Scotland on channel 862 on virgin it IS showing the match !

Sky channel 951 is showing this (it is BBC Scotland but if you get the number slightly wrong you may find some very tame 'adult' entertainment???)

Pat Nevin - who's a brainy chap, no mistake - rated his 1H performance. Which was nice.
