sadly he is too valuable and will continue to play at the top level, earn a fortune, and assault people who offend the poor love's very particular sensibilities

If Newcastle sack him over this latest case then they are being hippocritical. If they were going to sack him it should have been for the first conviction for which he is currently doing time. They knew about the incident on the training ground so the only reason they will sack him is to do with the wages.
How much of his current trouble are down to his unsettled upbringing. At least he's not an axe murderer like his half brother!
I bet any club in the premiership would take him as would Brighton if there was a chance.
