Likewise, however, I think we'll agree to disagree here for sure though. I've always enjoyed this side of football, but at the football only. Wouldn't dream of booing a national anthem during a military parade or something else of importance.

That’s fine, we’ll agree to disagree…I’d far rather discuss music.

lol I say this now and if we play shit on Saturday and lose, I'll be acting like the worlds about to end, but really, everything will still be here. Bit like a bad trip really. haha

There is a serious point there, that the things that make us really feel, whether it's joy or stress or rage or panic, are the things that really matter and make life living for. I gather that once you have children that basically means a) are they ok? and b) when will they shut up and let me go to sleep?

On the other hand, we shouldn't let ourselves get to deep into any of this. And if the reaction to the reaction to some music before a game of football really gets anybody that wound up, they should really get out and get some fresh air.

Although these were not in the stadium - not so proud. Collymore is correct in what he says. Not isolated incidents either. Other memes of this young girl have been doing the rounds. How old is she? 5-7 yrs old maybe? Sick and classless. Same the sad fools who persist in the bombers song. Jingoistic dated dirge from those who wouldn't have been anywhere near WW2.

Pissed lads on Twitter will always make comments, the tv company shouldn’t have shown the girl crying.

The tv camera filmed the German girl crying, if England had lost and the camera zoomed in on an English kid crying I think the Welsh and Jocks would have been making the comments.

Absolutely. Or the subsection of morons that exist in every country. 100% would've happened the other way round had Germany won. Social media issues exist in every country the world over. Irish, Scottish, Welsh folk on social media making out like this is an 'English' problem and trying to claim the moral high ground ffs as if idiots don't exist anywhere else.

Really? Showing immature disrespect is having fun?

That's tragic. No wonder so many people hate the English.

You do know that the problem with social media and hatred etc is a worldwide problem and not just an English phenomenon, don't you? It has been the catalist for right wing populism across the world ffs

So the basis of your argument is that people shouldn't find this sort of abuse morally wrong as everyone around the world is doing it!

Suspect our Italian based England supporters won’t boo the knee today. I wouldn't have been so confident if the game had been on the Costa del Sol

No, of course not. But soul finger said 'No wonder people hate the english'. A I've not found that to be the case on my travels/living abroad, and B online abuse by morons is a huge problem across the globe.

Well done to the ex-pats and the well organised who traveled from all parts of Europe to cheer the boys on to victory. Looked to be a lot more than 2500 England fans in the stadium last night. Also nice to wake up without seeing or hearing news of England fans being terrorised by the local constabulary.

Presumably the England fans that live in continental Europe that made the journey and cheered the team on so well last night, having settled in foreign parts, are a bit more respectful of local cultures, traditions and anthems that the only constabulary interventions necessary were for directions.
