the johnstones paint trophy.

I loved that tournament and it is probably the only thing i will miss about league 1. Going to the half empty games at withdean on chilly tuesday nights i really enjoyed. We came so close a couple of years ago its just a shame we were never able to get a trip to wembley but who knows maybe the play offs next season :smokin:

In a strange way, yes. I remember that trip to Orient a couple of years ago where we pretty much outnumbered the home fans... that won't happen again!

Different Worlds - everyone will soon get used to the rarefied atmosphere at the next level, we were there only a few seasons ago with Magoon anyway.

This time I think we'd be extremely disappointed to have it end the same way - but back then we didn't have what it took to stay the course.

I think Hull, Middlesbrough and potentially Blackpool or Wigan will fit the bill, if depressed northern outposts is your bag.

Yes and no. I loved the JPT because it was the only thing we could realistically win. This season, we proved that we don't need the JPT to be winners.
